ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing of corporate yearends, tax returns and financial statements
  • Preparing personal tax returns
  • Data processing
  • GST returns and other filings
  • Correspondence and communication with clients, government agencies, our partners and staff

Desirable Experience/Education (not required):

  • Degree in accounting
  • Experience in accounting firm or similar organization
  • Experience with Caseware, Quickbooks, Sage, and or tax software

DATA PROCESSOR

Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping for corporate and personal clients, including:
    • Enter invoices, payments, deposits, and expenses accurately and promptly
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records

Desirable Experience / Education

  • Experience with QuickBooks, QBO, Sage 50, Sage online accounting software
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping practices
  • Strong computer skills including data entry, record management, and document preparation
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
